Vans
Vans first began in March 1966 when brothers Paul Van Doren and Jim Van Doren opened The Van Doren Rubber Company based in Anaheim, California. By 1974 nearly every skater in the state was wearing a pair of Vans for on and off the board thanks to their classic make-up and reliable grippy waffle sole. Van Doren didn't initially plan to make a skate shoe at the time but by designing shoes with great traction and at an affordable price meant local skate crews and casuals adopted Vans as their shoe of choice and still do now over 50 years later. Vans now offers a wide variety of classsic styles each season built upon the same values as back then with new colour ways and exciting collaborations always around the corner.
