Nicholas Daley
Nicholas Daley launched his eponymous label in 2015, having graduated from Central Saint Martins two years prior. After an upbringing immersed in musical subcultures - Daley's parents even ran a reggae night in Scotland - the label brings together music, fashion and art, reconsidering past movements through the medium of clothing. Within Daley's wider narrative lays powerful ideas about heritage, memory and identity, celebrating his Scottish-Jamaican heritage and exploring wider multiculturalism in Britain. In exploring the intersection between music and style, Daley takes past references and updates them using bespoke textiles and intricate finishes to create cultured contemporary styles. The recipient of multiple awards within the industry, each of Daley's collections focus on a unique theme guided by "community, craftsmanship and culture".
