Women's Fred Perry

Triple Wimbledon winner Fred Perry was approached by ex-Austrian football player Tibby Wegner in the 1940s to create a sports shirt and sweatband for the current tennis market. This led to the creation of the iconic Fred Perry polo shirt, which was first introduced at Wimbledon in 1952. Since then the label has evolved into a classic British brand, being embraced by various subcultures down the years. The label has also been a firm favourite of musicians, including Amy Winehouse, who collaborated with Fred Perry to make her own women's collection in 2010.
